US General Series 2 44" top tool chest LED light

Description

Custom made US General Series 2 44" top tool chest LED light.  Ships carefully packaged via USPS Priority Mail.
These are made to perfectly fit the 44" Series 2 top chest.
Light turns on when you open the top and off when you close it.
Installing it is as simple as peeling the film off of the adhesive tape and attaching the LED channel and switch, then plugging it in.  Start to finish should only take a couple of minutes and the end result is a very clean looking custom light that provides over 900 lumens.  I only used the very best part available, see below.
LED strip lights - These are some of the best LEDs money can buy, not some cheapo crap that will have issues and fail after a year.  The LEDS are HitLights Premium High Density 600LED Cool White (5000k) featuring 2835 size LEDS and a double PCB resulting in smooth and even illumination and greater lifespan of 60,000 hours.  Most LED strip lights are 300LEDs, or less, and create an uneven illumination.  These have a CRI rating of >90 which is very uncommon and makes items more colorful and vivid.  Each light assembly produces over 900 lumens of even and diffused light while only using 8.5w.  UL listed/certified.
LED channel - 39.5" black anodized aluminum with frosted cover and black end caps result in a very uniform light.  This channel is held in place with very strong and thin 3M adhesive tape running the entire length of the channel.
Switch - magnetic reed style.  I have had great results with this particular brand of switch in my safe lighting systems.  Before I started using these particular switches, I was replacing similar switches about once a year due to failure.  The wire connections are covered in liquid tape to prevent any issues.  Both parts use the same 3M adhesive that is on the channel.
Wiring - 22AWG, PVC jacket, tinned copper wires.
Power supply - 12v 1A.  Approx. 50" cord. UL Listed/Certified.  Plenty of power to run the LEDS which only use .7A of electricity.
