The awarding winning Grizzly G0513X2BF 17" 2 HP Bandsaw with Cast-Iron Trunnion & Foot Brake Micro-Switch was recognized because of its combination of features including both an automatic brake that stops the blade in less than two seconds at shutdown and a foot brake for emergencies.
The magnetic power switch prevents accidental restarts after an emergency stop or loss of power and the keyed lockout adds another level of safety.
The 2 HP motor powers through wood at a maximum 12" cutting capacity and the 16-1/4" throat is big enough for most applications.
The G0513X2BF has an extra-wide 23-5/8" x 17-1/4" cast-iron table that can tilt from 5° left to 45° right. The cast-iron fence includes a 6" tall extruded-aluminum resaw fence that attaches quickly and supports tall stock exceptionally well. The cast-iron table trunnions add additional weight for greater stability.
Additional features include a heavy-duty miter gauge, dual 4" dust ports to suck up all the sawdust, micro-adjusting geared table and double ball-bearing blade guides that are usually found on machines costing much more.
This 17" 2HP Extreme Series® Bandsaw is covered by a 1-year warranty covering parts and factory defects. (Consumables such as blades are not included.) Support for this machine is US based and replacement parts are available on-line for shipment from our warehouse in Springfield, MO.

How Will My Freight Be Delivered?
This item ships via truck freight. The trucking company will call you to arrange for curbside delivery. Your delivery address must be accessible by tractor-trailer. Truck drivers are not required to give assistance unloading, which means that you are responsible for unloading your freight and moving it to your shop. We estimate, but cannot guarantee, delivery in 3 to 5 business days. If tracking your order on the carrier’s website, ignore any estimated delivery dates as these are often incorrect.
What If I Need Help Unloading And Moving My Freight To My Shop? Do You Offer Any Extra Delivery Services?
Your delivery address must be accessible by tractor-trailer and you are still responsible for moving the freight from your curbside to your shop.
Some freight terminals are equipped to offer additional services - such as moving the freight into your shop or garage for you - on a limited basis for an additional charge. None of the carriers we work with will move freight up or down stairs. If you are interested in finding out whether the carrier can offer additional delivery services for your order, please send us a message and we will be happy to look into it for you. Please be advised that Grizzly Industrial will not be responsible for providing these services for returns.
I Work Full Time And There Is No One Home To Receive My Freight Delivery. What Are My Options?
Freight is delivered on weekdays during normal business hours. Many customers find it more convenient to arrange to pick up at the carrier's terminal or to have their orders shipped to their work address or to a friend who can be home to accept delivery during the day. Since it is your responsibility to unload your freight from the truck and to inspect your freight to be sure you receive the right number of boxes in good condition, someone must be present at the time of delivery.
